It is little,wonder that while the stated
purpose of these "health centres
was "a bold new approach" to freeing
people from psychiatric treatment in institutions, the reality was that it became an easy way to addict thousands of people to psychiatric drugs. In effect then, they became legal drug, pushing agencies. Fifty-five percent of people using Community Mental Health Centres (CMHC) receive powerful psychotropic (mind-altering) drugs. And at least forty-five percent are given tranquilizers. Medical studies since the 1960's have proven that these psychiatric drugs create violent and aggressive behavior
